Sumant Hiralal Parikh, a genuine trailblazer, commenced his career in the chemical industry with early experiences in various companies as a young professional. His journey evolved as he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing Ambica Chemical Corporation and Uni Chem in the late 1980s. Securing distributorships from renowned companies such as Herdillia Chemicals and Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited showcased his acumen.
Blessing his son, Sachin Parikh, with his wealth of experience, Sumant Parikh embarked on a new chapter by naming his latest venture Yash Polychem Pvt. Ltd., a poignant tribute to his grandson, Yash Parikh.
Sachin Sumant Parikh, guided by the blessings of his parents Sumant Parikh and Sushila Parikh, and with the unconditional support of his wife Rajeshree Parikh, established Yash Polychem in 2002 as the inaugural IOCL-appointed Authorized Distributor in Gujarat for Free Trade Products. Drawing upon his extensive expertise in specialty chemicals and petrochemicals, Sachin Parikh embarked on a journey to forge his path and leave an indelible mark in this highly competitive industry.
Fueled by zeal, passion, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, he transformed Yash Polychem from a modest enterprise with a total turnover of INR 60 lakhs into a thriving company, now boasting an annual business exceeding INR 1,100 crores.
Yash Sachin Parikh relocated to the United States in 2012 to embark on his undergraduate studies in Economics and Finance at Pennsylvania State University. Completing his degree in 2016, he ventured into entrepreneurship by co-founding Go2Gro with his college roommate. For over four years, Yash steered the growth of this same-day grocery delivery startup, expanding its footprint across numerous cities in the Northeast before achieving a successful exit from the market in late 2020.
Following this entrepreneurial chapter, Yash pursued an MBA at Pennsylvania State University and contributed his skills and insights to Shipt, a subsidiary of Target Corp, for over two years. In August 2023, after an 11-year journey in the United States, he returned to India and joined Yash Polychem. Here, he is devoted to realizing his grandfather's and father's strategic vision—diversifying the business, scaling operations, and transforming the company into a technology-driven, people-centric, and process-driven enterprise.
